Objective

Design and facilitate an intensive collaborative space for emerging professionals from across Europe to explore new ways of working together, exchange practices, and develop concrete project ideas within the performing arts ecosystem.

Approach

The Atelier was designed as a living laboratory for collaboration. Through a mix of structured facilitation, peer-led exploration, and collective sense-making, participants worked across disciplines, roles, and cultural backgrounds.

The process balanced openness and focus, allowing ideas to emerge organically while guiding the group toward shared direction and actionable outcomes.

Why it worked

Human-centred collaboration

Focused on social dynamics, trust, and collective intelligence beyond sector-specific expertise

Cross-sector & cross-cultural exchange

Diverse perspectives enriched ideas and challenged assumptions

From dialogue to action

Conversations were continuously translated into shared insights and concrete project directions

Impact

  • Strengthened connections across the European cultural network

  • Emergence of new collaborative project ideas and partnerships

  • Increased capacity of participants to work with complexity and diversity in collaborative settings
